Nathan is originally from Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduating law school in 2007 from Indiana University – Bloomington, Nathan moved to Virginia where he primarily focused on commercial and corporate litigation and bankruptcy law.  Nathan joined Harman Claytor in March 2025 after working as a trial attorney at the Department of Justice, where he represented the United States in district and bankruptcy courts around the country.  His practice at Harman Claytor will focus on auto liability defense, commercial & business litigation, construction law, premises liability, and products liability.

In his free time, Nathan is a soccer coach and referee in Northern Virginia and enjoys travel, which has recently included a trip to Italy and Monaco, as well as attending the 2024 Summer Olympics in both Marseille and Paris, France.
